iOS 17.2.1 Released a Few Hours Ago with Bug Fixes

Apple pushed the iOS 17.2.1 update (version number: 21C66) to iPhone users on December 20, 2023, 14 days after the last release.

It’s important to note that due to Apple’s server configuration caching issues at regional nodes, there may be a slight delay in detecting the update in some places, generally within half an hour, which won’t be too long.

iOS 17.2.1 Released

According to the description in the update log, iOS 17.2.1 is a minor update that is mainly used to fix a few bugs and security vulnerabilities, and at this point in time, we don’t know the CVE entries (which refers to Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures numbers) that are included with these updates.

iOS 17.2.1 may just be a transitional update that paves the way for the upcoming release of iOS 17.3. iOS 17.3 is rumored to introduce a new “Stolen Device Protection” security option and re-enable the collaborative Apple Music playlist creation feature.
