Apple iOS 17.2 RC Brings New Weather Widgets [More Useful]

Apple today (December 6, 2023) released the iOS / iPadOS 17.2 RC update in preparation for the upcoming official version, which is expected to be officially released as soon as this week (December 11th).

In this release, Apple brings users a new weather widget that refines information related to weather forecasts, allowing users to better base their travel plans on that information.

Apple has provided three different weather widget options on the desktop that you can choose from depending on your preferences and needs. Here is a brief description of all three widgets.

Detailed Information: Users can view today’s precipitation probability, UV intensity, wind speed and other information so that they can prepare for sun protection, rain gear and clothing in advance.

Daily Weather Forecast: View the current weather conditions and weather forecast for the next few days for the user’s location or area of interest.

Sunset and Sunrise: Provides detailed information about sunrise and sunset times in the user’s area, so you can enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets or adjust your work schedule according to the light conditions.

The previous weather widget could only display the current temperature, the maximum and minimum temperature of the day, and the current weather conditions (e.g. cloudy, sunny, etc.). In contrast, In contrast, the new upcoming one is more informative and useful.
